Strategic provides counseling for individuals struggling with substance use.

Substance Abuse Counseling (Individual and/or family)
Counseling occurs weekly utilizing theoretical approaches such as Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, 12-steps, Seeking Safety, and psycho-education to address addiction, or substance abuse diagnoses to help youth and families move towards the path of recovery.

Substance Abuse Evaluation
An intake which includes reviewing any available historical records and reports, a self-report needs assessment, and SASSI screening to identify probability towards having a SA diagnosis and identifying recommended treatment options.

Substance Abuse Relapse Prevention
Individual Counseling Focusing on Managing Recovery but discussing factors of relapse and developing relapse prevention plans. This is for youth who have already received treatment and are trying to maintain recovery and need additional support. They may also attend 12-step support groups as a part of their recovery process.
